his study examines the relationship between transnational crime and organized crime using a normative juridical and comparative approach. Globalization, technological advancement, and economic integration have transformed criminal activities into complex cross-border networks. The findings indicate that most transnational crimes rely on organized criminal structures that provide logistics, financing, money laundering mechanisms, and corruption-based protection systems. Existing legal frameworks remain fragmented and often ineffective in addressing network-based criminality. This article proposes legal reform through harmonization of international regulations, strengthening asset recovery mechanisms, expansion of international cooperation, and integrated law enforcement strategies. These measures are expected to improve the effectiveness of combating transnational organized crime in Indonesia and globally.
